Want to make some changes or stop your recurring donation? Not a problem!

On your Dashboard, you should see a recurring donation box. You can also access the box through your My Donations page, and you'll see the manage box:

On the next page, you can edit the below:

  • Donation amount(s)
  • Designation
  • Privacy

If you want to change the date for your recurring donation, you would need to cancel the current set up, and create a new recurring donation on your desired date.

How to cancel your recurring donation

To cancel your recurring donation, hit the "Cancel donation" text at the bottom of your recurring donation page:

How to edit your payment method attached to your recurring donation

To edit your payment method for a recurring donation, you will need to cancel the current recurring donation. This is part of a payment verification process to ensure that you are making the change.

1. On your Dashboard, you should see a recurring donation box. You can also access the box through your My Donations page, and you'll see the manage box:

2. Scroll to the bottom and click "Cancel donation".

3. After canceling the recurring donation, you can go to your Bright Funds dashboard and hit "Donate" to see your saved "My causes and nonprofits" or go to each nonprofit page to re-add your nonprofits.

4. You will then be able to quickly set up a new recurring donation with your previously supported causes.

Can I change the date of my recurring donation?

At this time, no. In order to "change" the date, you would need to cancel your recurring donation, and set it up on the date of the month you would like the donation to take place moving forward.
