Overview
If your company offers Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) on Bright Funds, you may be able to become a Lead!
If you happen to be a Lead for an ERG on Bright Funds, you will be able to manage the group and its details, including reviewing member requests (if a private ERG), adding activities and setting up meetings.
You can find the ERG section in the left-side panel of your Bright Funds dashboard.
How to add an activity
- On your My ERGs page, click "View Details" for the ERG you wish to update
- Click on the "Activities" tab
- For the Volunteering tab:
- You can search for any Volunteer opportunities that are posted by your company
- For the Giving tab:
- You can search for any Funds created by your company to include in your ERG
How to review member requests (private ERGs only)
- Click into "My ERGs" on your Bright Funds dashboard
- You should see a tab, "You are the lead", which will show what ERGs you can manage
- Find the ERG you need to review, and click "View Details"
- Click on the "Members" tab
- Click on the "Manage Members" tab
- You will see a list of names. Navigate to the new members who have a status of "Pending"
- To the right, you will see three dots. Click on the dots to expand a drop-down menu
- Click "Review Request"
- You will be able to see the request details for the member
- The below options will be presented:
- Cancel - close the request window
- Deny - deny the request for the member to join
- Approve - allow the member to join
