Joining an Employee Resource Group

If your company offers Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) on Bright Funds, you will be able to explore the groups available, and even propose your own group for approval.

How to explore ERGs

1. Click ERGs at the top of your Bright Funds dashboard, right next to the search box. Or, "My ERGs" in the left panel of your Bright Funds dashboard. 
2. You will land on the "Discover Employee Resource Groups" page, where you can see the ERGs available through your company.
3. You can scroll through the ERGs, and find one that interests you.
4. Click "View Details" for any ERG that you would like to learn more about. 

How to join

1. Once you find a group that interests you, click "Join the group!"
2. If it's a public ERG, you will be added as a member right away.
3. If it's a private ERG, you may be required to complete a form that asks you why you would like to join the group.
   1. Once you have filled out your response for the private group, click "Submit Interest", and the ERG Lead for that group will review your request on their end.
4. Once you are a member of the group, you will be able to view activities, meetings, and see who else is part of the ERG.
