On Bright Funds, your dashboard will now display your local country currency instead of defaulting to USD ($). The currency displayed will be based on your country location as confirmed by your company.
How can I see what country and currency has been set for my dashboard?
You can view the country and currency set by your company by following the steps below:
- Navigate to your dashboard
- Click your name in the upper right corner and select "Account Settings"
- Check the country selected; the currency is automatically selected based on country
If your country/currency is not set
If your country and currency is not set, you can select your country from the dropdown to set up your currency view for your Bright Funds experience. Once you do select and save the changes, you won't be able to change it.

Why is my total that I donated this year changing?
You may notice the amounts fluctuate from day-to-day, as the currency amount displayed is based on the exchange rate on that day you are viewing your page. Note, your donation amounts that are to be sent to your nonprofit will not change.
Why is my matching gift limit amount displayed changing?
The matching gift limit will also fluctuate, as the amount displayed is based on the conversion rate from USD to your local currency at that moment.
How do I know how much I have available in matching in USD?
You can reach out to our Support team, and they can assist with verifying your matching limit and available funds in USD.
How do I know how much I have available in credit grants in USD?
When you are awarded with a credit grant, the email you receive will show the amount in USD. You will also see how much you have in credit grants in USD when you are on the donation checkout page for a nonprofit.
