General Description

This can be updated on your GuideStar profile, as Bright Funds syncs that information from their database.

Mission and Vision

You can email our team with your EIN, mission and vision, and we would be happy to make this update for you.

Logo

Need to update your logo? Send us a photo along with your EIN, and we can make the update for you.

Address

Please share the following information with our team at nonprofits@brightfunds.org or via the chat:

  1. Your EIN
  2. New address
  3. Where your new address is published (ex: website) OR send us a document (ex: piece of mail with the nonprofit name and new address)

In addition, make sure you update your nonprofit record through GuideStar to ensure other third party donation sites don't disburse checks to the wrong location. You can contact GuideStar/Candid if you have any trouble editing your GuideStar profile.

There are a few things you can update on your Bright Network account! Once you are logged into your Bright Network account, follow the steps below.

Social Media

To update your Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) pages:

  1. Click "Profile"
  2. Fill in the Facebook and X information for your nonprofit

The feeds for your social media accounts will update on your nonprofit's donor-facing page in Bright Funds.

ACH/EFT/direct deposit

To add or update your ACH/EFT/direct deposit*:

  1. Click "Profile"
  2. Scroll down to the Bank Details section
  3. Enter the information, and submit one of the documents listed in the prompt.

Our Nonprofit Team will provide next steps in completing the ACH process, including verifying a test deposit via email to finalize your setup.

*Please note you must be registered for Bright Network to update your ACH information.
